L2 Learn is designed to be accessible for learners at any level, allowing you to begin with the course of your choice. However, to make the most of your learning journey, we recommend starting with the beginner ones—Introduction to Layer 2 and Layer 2 Basics—especially if you are new to the L2 and crypto world.
The gateway to the L2 world is open to everyone through a simple entry process, with no preliminary preparation required, including email registration with a password. If you’re ready to learn about L2 and beyond, follow these steps to begin your learning adventure:

If you are learning on a mobile device, you will need to access the L2 Learn website through the dapps browser within a wallet native app such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet. The wallet will not connect properly when accessed from a browser (Chrome, Brave, etc.) on a mobile device.
Optionally, connect your wallet to unlock some useful features, including:
Managing your learning status
Issuing SBT certificates
Acquiring badges and skills
Creating your profile page
Accessing DID features
Select a course to start
L2 Learn offers a wide range of courses, each assigned a level: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. While you can begin with any course, we suggest starting with the beginner ones and gradually progressing to the intermediate and advanced levels.
Choose a lesson within your selected course
Each course contains several lessons. Although the platform recommends a specific order, feel free to pick any lesson that interests you. Make sure to manage your learning status to keep track of your progress and achievements if your wallet is connected.
Take a quiz
At the end of each lesson, there is a quiz to reinforce your understanding. Completing a quiz rewards you with EXPs based on your score, which accumulate as you progress in your learning. The more EXPs you accumulate, the higher your level becomes. Additionally, this completion will reward you with badges, showcased on your profile.
Take a final end-of-course quiz
Once you finish all the lessons with quizzes in a course, proceed to take the final end-of-course quiz, encompassing everything you’ve learned. Achieving a full score on this quiz is required to complete the course. You’ll also receive extra EXP and “skills” upon course completion.
Claim an SBT certificate
Upon finishing a course with the final quiz, you can claim an SBT certificate, accrediting your completion of the course, provided your wallet is connected. Please note that this process doesn’t happen automatically; you must mint an SBT certificate yourself.
Share your achievement
By the time you complete a course, you will have accumulated EXPs, earned various badges, gained new skills, and received an SBT certificate. Proudly share your profile on social media to let your friends know about your accomplishments!
